We pride ourselves on our team and the relationships we build with our children and their families
We know how important the people are to our setting and to the outcomes of children both in our preschool and the wider area. We are committed to supporting a highly knowledgeable early years workforce and support our team to continually develop their knowledge through CPD and qualifications. Our team is led by Rosie, a qualified Early Years Teacher and Alan, a qualified Early Years Lead Practitioner. The rest of the team are qualified Early Years Educators and Practitioners, or current apprentices.
We also host placements both in conjunction with local colleges or universities and local schools. We support students with real life experience either as part of their studies or to find out about the world of work and begin to think about a career in education.

Rosie
Rosie has worked at Clockhouse since 2010 after volunteering with us.
Rosie gained qualified Early Years Teacher Status in 2021 and holds certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid, allergy awareness and Food hygiene.
Rosie has three teenage children and runs a local Rainbows Unit. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys drinking coffee, doing jigsaws and spending time on her allotment.

Alan
Alan has worked at Clockhouse since 2017 after volunteering with us.
Alan gained Early Years Lead Practitioner Statue in 2026 and holds certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid, allergy awareness and Food hygiene.
Alan has three teenage children and works as a photographer when he is not at preschool. In his spare time, Alan enjoys fixing things and spending time at his allotment.

Sarah
Sarah is a founder member of staff, having worked at Clockhouse since 1990!
Sarah holds Early Years Professional Status along with certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid, allergy awareness and Food hygiene.
Sarah has three adult children and in her spare time, is a magician and bubbler and raises money for St Christopher’s Hospice.

Jade
Jade joined the Clockhouse team in 2017.
Jade holds a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification along with certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid, allergy awareness and Food hygiene.
Jade is also a gymnastics coach outside of preschool and in her spare time she looks after her very big dog!

Hollie joined us at Clockhouse in 2022 and has completed her Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification with us.
Hollie also holds certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid, allergy awareness and Food hygiene.
In her spare time Hollie enjoys spending time driving her car and shopping for pink ‘girl racer’ accessories!

Sofiya has two children at home and in her spare time she enjoys cooking and good coffee!

Stuart joined the Clockhouse team in 2014 after his daughter attended the setting.

Stuart has two children and in his spare time he enjoys running, playing the piano and juggling!

Clare has worked at Clockhouse since 2015 having been on our management committee since her own (now adult) children attended.
Clare holds a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and certificates in Safeguarding Children, First aid and Food hygiene.
Clare also works as a part time gardener and in her spare time enjoys singing and meditation.
